Super Bowl LIX Ticket Brokerage Terms: What You Need to Know

As the biggest sporting event of the year approaches, ticket brokers must adhere to strict guidelines to ensure a seamless buying and selling process. Below, we outline the essential terms and conditions for Super Bowl LIX ticket sales, ensuring compliance and transparency for all sellers.

Key Listing Requirements

To list tickets for Super Bowl LIX, brokers must provide proof of purchase upon request. Additionally:

  • Proof of Transfer must be provided to Ticket Attendant.
  • Transfers will go directly to the customer, not to Ticket Attendant.
  • Listing deadlines:
    • Sales made before Wednesday, February 5, must have an In-Hand Date (IHD) of 2/5 or earlier.
    • Listings posted after February 5 must have an IHD of that date.
  • Payment for all Super Bowl sales will be processed after the event.
  • Masking by row is acceptable unless within 10 rows of the field.
  • Retransfers must be performed at the request of Ticket Attendant.
  • Sellers must provide a screenshot of tickets in their account manager and share listings so adjustments can be made.

Penalties for Violations

Failure to comply with the terms may result in:

  • Removal of listings without notice.
  • Canceled sales.
  • Liability for additional charges to satisfy buyers.

Important Seller Responsibilities

Due to the high value of Super Bowl tickets, sellers must:

  • Fulfill orders exactly as listed.
  • Pay a replacement fee if they cannot provide the listed tickets.
  • Accept that Ticket Attendant reserves the right to cancel fraudulent orders.
  • Acknowledge that Ticket Attendant may restrict the number of tickets listed or sold.
  • Accept Ticket Attendant’s right to prohibit sales in specific venue sections.

Proof of Transfer Requirements

Each order requires proof of transfer, including:

  • Recipient’s email address.
  • Section and row of transferred tickets.

Listing Guidelines

  1. Consecutive Seating: Orders must be filled with consecutive seats; splitting into pairs is not allowed.
  2. Wheelchair/Accessible Seating:
    • Listings must include ‘W’ as the row.
    • The word “Wheelchair” must be in public notes (“WC” is not acceptable).
  3. Prohibited Listings:
    • Non-event passes (club passes, tailgate parties, parking passes, hotel rooms).
    • Lottery or Will Call-only tickets.
    • Auxiliary seating.
  4. Suite Sales:
    • Individual suite tickets must be actual stadium seats unless noted as barstool or Standing Room Only (SRO).
    • Half suites must specify seat types and whether the suite is shared.
    • Full suites must list seat types included.
    • Suite owners must be aware of ticket sales; failure to honor suite amenities results in seller liability.

Delivery Timelines

All confirmed orders must be delivered within the following deadlines:

  • Orders confirmed before Wednesday, February 5 must be delivered by Friday, February 7.
  • Orders confirmed on or after February 6:
    • February 6-7: Within 24 hours of confirmation.
    • February 8: By 10:00 AM ET on February 9.
    • February 9: Within 30 minutes of confirmation.
